Boxing Classes in Portland

Latest Updates to Beginner Training Program - Change in name only - focus remains the same

  • Boxing Basics replaces Intro to Boxing / Basics  is now a 30min session 
  • Boxing Skills replaces Rookie Boxing   /  ​Skills is 45-60min depending on class size
  • Both Classes now weekly on Wed and Sat  / Basics ends/Skills begins at same time for back-to-back session

Important Class Details:

  • ​​BOXING BASICS Requires Pre-registration for the first session.; register via email for follow-up Boxing Basics sessions; view Training Guidelines below. 
  • All other classes are drop-in with monthly dues plan or one-time session fee
  • ALL new students, regardless of experience,  MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE  ​(LINK ABOVE)
  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to secure a spot in class and be ready to participate; late arrivals discouraged and may not be admitted if class is full
  • Boxing Skills & Workout: Class capacity is 25 students
  • Basics, Conditioning, Strength & Stretch: Limited to 10

  • Classes are for adults 18+ (no youth program - see details)


Training Guidelines:

  • Novice - no experience/light experience elsewhere 
    • Sign up for Boxing Basics 
    • Goal: Boxing Skills - for best results, take Boxing Basics and Boxing Skills back to back on the same day!
  • Beginner (+) - have taken our Boxing Basics or have some training at another boxing gym, still building skills, confidence and endurance. 
    • Attend: Boxing Basics and/or Boxing Skills  
    • Goal: Boxing Workout - for best results, attend two classes per week to keep skills fresh
  • Intermediate - most students are here - skills and endurance are good, continuing to learn and excel, getting better with defense. 
    • Attend: Boxing Skills and/or Boxing Workout
    • Goal: Super Boxing
  • Advanced - regularly attend Boxing Workout, Super Boxing and/or Defense & Sparring, and comfortable with all skills including defense and helpful with other students

Trainers have regular schedules, but we also sub and alternate.  See days/times below for updates, holiday closures & special events.
